The cable is then pulled through the old pipe with a specialized tugger machine alleviating the need for lengthy messy excavation work preserving the condition of the ground above. As the bursting head is tugged through the pipe rupturing it allowing the new line to take its place. After new system is in place for the entire length of the water/septic/sewer system, the new pipe is tied in at the beginning of your service, and once again out at the main.
